Google Ads Certification Course | First step for Google ads

The first step to get started with Google Ads is to create a Google Ads account.

1. Visit the Google Ads website: Go to ads.google.com in your web browser.

2. Sign in or create a Google Account: If you already have a Google Account, sign in using your existing credentials. If not, click on the "Start Now" button and follow the instructions to create a new Google Account.

3. Set up your Google Ads account: Once you're signed in, you'll be prompted to set up your Google Ads account. Provide the necessary information such as your time zone, currency, and billing preferences.

4. Define your campaign goals: Google Ads will ask you about your advertising goals. Choose from options like driving website visits, getting more phone calls, increasing app installs, or promoting product sales. Select the option that aligns with your objectives.

5. Set up your first campaign: After defining your goals, you'll be guided to set up your first campaign. You'll need to select the campaign type (e.g., Search, Display, Video, Shopping) based on your advertising objectives.

6. Configure campaign settings: Fill in the details for your campaign, such as the campaign name, budget, location targeting, and language preferences. These settings will depend on the campaign type you've chosen.

7. Set your bidding strategy: Decide how you want to bid for your ads. You can choose from options like manual CPC (Cost-Per-Click), maximize clicks, target CPA (Cost-Per-Acquisition), or enhanced CPC. Each strategy has its own considerations, so choose the one that suits your goals and budget.

8. Create your ad groups: Within your campaign, you'll create ad groups. Ad groups are used to organize your ads and target specific keywords or placements. You can create multiple ad groups within a campaign to better manage your ads.

9. Write your ad copy: Craft compelling ad text that will grab the attention of your target audience. Write clear and concise headlines, describe your product or service benefits, and include a strong call-to-action. Ensure that your ad copy aligns with the keywords and messaging of your ad group.

10. Set up billing: Provide your billing information to activate your Google Ads account. You can choose from various payment options, including credit card, bank transfer, or direct debit.

Once you've completed these steps, you'll have your Google Ads account set up and your first campaign ready to go. Remember to monitor your campaign's performance and make adjustments as needed to optimize your ads and achieve your advertising goals.
